12 c. cubed bread
1 medium onion
3 c. celery, chopped
1 c. shortening or butter
1 tbsp. sage
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking soda
chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Cube bread and leave out to dry and become hard. Add to large bowl. In pan, melt shortening/butter and sauté onion and celery until soft. Pour over bread and mix. Add sage, salt and baking soda. Slowly add chicken broth in small amounts until the desired consistency is reached.
