1 lb. ground pork or turkey or beef
14 oz. cabbage slaw mix
1 teaspoon garlic
1 tablespoon ginger
1 bunch green onions
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon vegetable oil or corn oil

minced cilantro and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Chinese noodles (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat a large pan over medium heat. Cook pork and saute until the pork is no longer pink.

While the pork is cooking, mince the garlic and ginger. Thinly slice the green onions.

Add the cabbage slaw mix and saute for about five minutes until the slaw is soft.

Now add the garlic and ginger and cook for about a minute until it becomes fragrant, remove from heat.

Stir in the green onions, soy sauce and sesame oil. Mix well and finish with a sprinkle or sesame seeds and minced cilantro. You can add Chinese noodles too.


Variations
add mushrooms, bok choy or julienne'd bell peppers, if you're looking to bump up the veggies.
cashews, peanuts, water chestnuts or sliced almonds add a nice crunch.
shrimp - adding shrimp sautéed until just pink and plump.
an egg, scrambled, poached or fried egg adds protein and flavor!
add a pinch of red pepper flakes during the sauté or top your bowl with sriracha sauce, spicy mayo or your favorite hot sauce!
