2 ½ cups flour
1 ⅓ cups sugar
¾ cup cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup butter, melted
3 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup almonds, toasted and chopped
4oz semisweet chocolate chips
2oz white chocolate, melted

Pre heat oven to 325º.

Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Beat butter, eggs, and vanilla on medium speed until mixed. reduce speed to low and add flour mixture. Beat until blended.

By hand, knead in almonds and chocolate chips.

Divide dough in half and shape into two logs.

Bake 30 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 15 minutes.

Slice into ½-inch pieces. Place on cookie sheet top side up. Bake 20 minutes. Cool completely on cookie sheet.

Drizzle with melted white chocolate.
