1 recipe of Mom's apple pie filling (see desserts)
Can use store bought pie filling
peach, apple or cherry
****If you use cherry pie filling , use the white cake mix

1 box of yellow or white cake mix
1 1/2 sticks of butter cut into slices

Ice cream or whipped cream

13x9" pan


Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Butter a 9x13 in pan

Dump the pie filling and spread evenly in baking dish

Dump the dry cake mix over pie filling and spread evenly to cover

Top with slices of butter approximately 1 inch apart over entire dish

Bake uncovered until bubbly and light brown. 20-30 min.

Let sit for 10 minutes before serving

Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
