Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef, or ground turkey
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried parsley
28 ounce can diced tomatoes
2.5 cups pasta sauce (I used Simple Truth Organic Mushroom Pasta Sauce, with great results)
2.5 cups chicken broth (can use water if you don't have on hand)
4 cups ziti or penne pasta, uncooked
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, cook the ground meat and onion until browned. Stir in garlic and salt and cook one minute. Add the meat mixture, basil, parsley, tomatoes, pasta sauce, and chicken broth into a large (4 or 6 quart) slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours. Turn the cooker to high and add the pasta, stirring til combined. Cover and cook for an additional 15-30 minutes, until pasta is done (check at 15 minutes and continue if not al dente). Turn the cooker off, sprinkle with the cheese, and keep it covered for 3-5 minutes til the cheese has melted.
