Ingredients: 1 1/4 C of vegetable broth 1/2 small onion cut into small pieces 1 small carrot cut into small pieces 1 small celery stalk cut into small pieces 1 Tsp dried basil 1/2 Tsp dried marjoram 1 Tbsp all purpose flour 1 large can of crushed or whole tomatoes 28oz. 2 Whole sun dried tomatoes 1/8 tsp baking soda 1/2 Tsp salt 1/2 Tsp fresh ground pepper
Immersion blender or any other chopping blender
Serve with Crusty bread or a grilled cheese sandwich Yum !

Directions:Place all ingredients into a pot
-stir , cook on medium heat and bring to a low boil
-put lid on 3/4 of the pot & simmer for 30 Minutes
After 30 minutes add the immersion blender and blend until smooth or scoop soup in batches into a blender and blend until smooth .
Season to taste
** I Like to add some of the juices / oils from the jarred sundried tomatoes ** |
