1 Tbsp butter
2-3 cloves of minced garlic
Fresh green beans, trimmed
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
~3/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic on medium until fragrant; should only take a few minutes.
2. Add green beans to skillet. Add in salt and pepper. Stir and sauté for a few minutes.
3. Add in water, enough to cover green beans.
4. Turn stove on medium-high and place lid onto skillet. Let simmer and steam off until water is gone and green beans are tender.
5. Transfer to a plate and serve!

Adjust amounts of ingredients to your liking. More green beans means more water to the pan. May need more salt and pepper to taste.

My mom likes to use fresh sliced garlic instead of minced. May also add a little soy sauce to the water to add flavor.

This is a great summer favorite when the green beans are in season!
