1 lb chicken tenderloins
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper

2 Tbsp butter, divided
1 Tbsp olive oil

Sauce:
3 cloves minced garlic
3 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp white wine vinegar (white vinegar, rice vinegar, or apple cider vinegar work too)
1/2 Tbsp Thai chili sauce (sriracha works well too for more spiciness)

Sesame seeds (optional)

1. In a shallow plate combine 3 Tbsp cornstarch, 1 tsp oregano, salt, and pepper.
2. Coat chicken tenders with cornstarch mixture.
3. In the meantime, heat 1 Tbsp butter and 1 Tbsp olive oil in a large skillet set over medium-high heat.
4. Add chicken tenders to the hot skillet and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Flip over the chicken tenders, add remaining 1 Tbsp of butter to the skillet and continue to cook for 4 to 5 more minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
6. In the meantime, combine 3 cloves of minced garlic, 3 Tbsp honey, 2 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp white wine vinegar, and 1/2 Tbsp Thai chili sauce in a mixing bowl; whisk to combine.
7. Lower heat to medium.
8. Add sauce to the chicken and continue to cook for 2 more minutes, or until sauce starts to thicken.
9. Turn chicken over to coat with sauce.
10. Remove from heat. Garnish with sesame seeds.

This is a great recipe to double or even triple!

Sometimes I will double the sauce recipe to pour over rice and broccoli.
