Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 loaf of French (or Italian) bread
12 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
1/2 lb butter
1 T lemon juice
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp chopped onion or onion juice
1 tsp Lawry's seasoned salt

Directions:
Directions:
Crosshatch cut the bread almost to the bottom, making 1" diamond pieces. Stuff the sliced lines with the sliced cheese - you can't overdo it. Mix the rest of the ingredients into a spread and frost the sides and top of the loaf using all of it. Bake uncovered at 350° for about 30 minutes until bubbly and melted. Serve on a platter as a pull-apart.

You can make these in advance, double wrap in aluminum foil and freeze. Best if defrosted before baking and bake uncovered.

Personal Notes:
This is an awesome replacement for garlic bread with any Italian food or just as an appetizer. Hugely popular no matter where you take it!
