1 egg, unbeaten
1 c. brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
1/4 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 8" square pan. Stir together egg, brown sugar and vanilla. Quickly stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Add walnuts. Spread in pan and bake at 350 for 18 - 20 minutes. (cookies should be soft in center when taken from oven) Cool in pan; cut into 2" squares. Makes 16 squares. Be sure not to over-bake them.
