3 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 small can of evaporated milk (about 2/3 cup)
12 ounces BAKER'S semisweet chocolate chips, chopped
1 jar JET PUFFED marshmallow cream
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 tsp vanilla

Line a 9 inch square pan with nonstick foil, with ends of foil extending over the sides. Bring the sugar, butter, and evaporated milk to a full roiling boil in a 3 quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook 4 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 234ºF, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add chocolate and marshmallow creme, stir til melted. Add nuts and vanilla and mix well. Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly. Cool completely. Use foil handles to lift fudge up from the pan, before cutting into 1 inch squares

This recipe used to be featured on the back of the jar of the marshmallow creme, but apparently is not longer always there. I make this every Christmas to go with the other cookies my friend Laura and I bake on "Baking Day," an annual tradition. This is quick and easy and the fudge is rich and delicious.
