1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 ½ cup milk
2 ½ lb ground beef
3 beaten eggs
½ of a medium red onion diced
1 small can sliced mushrooms
1 cup shredded cheddar (or whatever cheese you like)

½ tsp sage
1 cup salsa (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Soak bread crumbs in milk; add meat, eggs, onions and seasoning, mix well. Put mixture into a greased 13x9 pan. Form an oblong loaf and then divide it in half, removing the top half. Make a cavity in the middle to put mushrooms and cheese into. Put the top half back on and pinch the sides together to close. Cover top of loaf with salsa (if you like that, I usually don’t). Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until done.
