Ingredients: 1 lb Brussel Sprouts, washed, stems trimmed and quartered Olive Oil 1/2 pound bacon, finely chopped 1 medium onion, finely chopped ½ Cup Chopped Walnuts ½ Cup FRESH Feta Cheese 3 T Real Maple Syrup

Directions: |
Directions:Prepare Brussel Sprouts by washing, trimming stems and quartering. Coat in Olive Oil. Place in an air fryer (I put mine on 400º) for 20 minutes. Shake fryer pan occasionally.
On stovetop cook finely chopped bacon in pan. I cut my bacon with kitchen scissors before putting into the pan. When sprouts have cooked for 20 minutes in air fryer, put cooked bacon over sprouts and return to air fryer for 5 more minutes.
Sautee/Carmelize Onion in bacon drippings - this will take 5 or more minutes depending on how done you like your onions. Once Onions are ready, return bacon and sprouts to the pan, add Walnuts and toss to coat.
Pour mixture into serving dish and crumble feta cheese over top. Toss once or twice to incorporate. Drizzle maple syrup over completed dish and serve! |

Notes: This recipe is easily doubled and you probably should consider that since it goes so quickly! The feta cheese I use for this recipe comes from Kraemer Wisconsin Cheese Dairy in Watertown. This quality feta cheese brings a creamy rich quality to this recipe.
