1-11.5 to 12 oz pkg Nestle chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet or dark)
⅔ cup sweetedened condensed milk (½ of 14 oz can)
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp unsalted butter, optional
½-1½ cups nuts, marshmallows, peanut butter chips, toffee pieces, etc (optional)

Line a load pan with aluminum foil
Heat chocolate chips, condensed milk and butter in micorwave for 1 minute.
Stir the chocolate mixute until smooth. The residual heat will mlet all the chocolate chips. If necessary, microwave again at 10-second intervals, being careful not to burn.
Add vanilla and salt.
Stir in any add-ins.
Pour into the pan. Cover the pan with plastic wrap or foil.
Refrigerate for 2 hours until set.
Lift from the pan with the foil. Invert onto a cutting board ns cut into 1" squares.
