1 lb. box light brown sugar
4 eggs
2 cups baking mix, such as Bisquick
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix sugar & eggs. Add baking mix and mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour into greased 5 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 2" pan. Bake 30 to 40 minutes. Check with toothpick. Center should be moist, with a few crumbs on pick, but not "wet" or runny. Top will be crunchy. Cool. Cut into squares.

The original recipe called these Praline Cookie Squares. However the first time I made them, my son made the remark that they were addictive, and the name stuck. Like a certain brand of chip, no one can eat just one.
