"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Make a spice bag by placing ginger, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, cloves and peppercorns on a double thick 6-8 inch square of cotton cheesecloth. Bring up corners and tie with cotton string. In a 3 1/2-4 quart slow cooker, combine half-and-half, water and honey. Add spice bag. Cover and cook on low 2-3 hours. Remove and discard spice bag. Add tea bags to the mixture, draping strings over side. Let stand, covered 5 minutes. Remove tea bags, squeezing gently to remove liquid. Stir in brandy.
