This is a two day process


1 cup milk
1 package dried yeast
2 T sugar
4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter or margarine
3 eggs yolks
3 egg whites
¾ cup sugar
Cherry or apple pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Day one:

Warm milk, add 1 yeast and sugar. Stir in flour, salt and butter. Work butter into mixture to form crumbs. Beat egg yolks and stir into flour mixture. Refrigerate overnight.

Day two:

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and continue to beat. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut dough into 3 parts and roll very thin. Spread 1/3 of the egg white mixture over each dough portion. Place dough on lightly greased baking sheets. Spread each with pie filling. Fold over an inch of the dough on each of the four sides. Brush dough with beaten egg to help brown. Bake 25 minutes or until golden.
