1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. orange or lemon rind
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 T. milk
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, milk and egg together. Add dry ingredients and mix. Roll on a floured surface and cut into desired shapes. Bake 5 to 6 minutes at 375 degrees.
