2 1/2 c. Whole milk
5 oz. Semi-sweet chocolate
5 large egg yolks
3/4 c. plus 2 T. sugar
1/3 c. cornstarch
1/4 t. salt
2 t. vanilla extract
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, combine milk and chocolate. Heat over medium low heat until chocolate is melted and mixture is warm. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, and salt until smooth. While whisking constantly, ladle in 1/2 c. of warm milk mixture (this is tempering the eggs). Continue until mixture is smooth.
Pour the tempered egg mixture into the saucepan with the remaining chocolate milk mixture, whisking continuously. Cook over medium heat until bubbling and thick, 4-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
Transfer to bowls/cups, cover with plastic wrap, and chill. Top with Chantilly Cream.
