Portobello Pizza Caps are a vegetarian dish made by stuffing portobello mushroom caps with pizza toppings such as cheese, tomato sauce, and vegetables. They can be baked in the oven or grilled and make for a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional pizza.

Ingredients:
12 large Portobello mushroom caps
1 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Remove the stems from the mushroom caps and lightly brush the caps with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Place the mushroom caps, gill side up, on a baking sheet.
Spread marinara sauce over the mushroom caps, then top each with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the mushrooms are tender.
Sprinkle with chopped basil and serve hot.

These portobello mushroom caps can be a great appetizer or a main dish. You can also add some toppings of your choice like pepperoni, sausage, bacon, or vegetables like bell pepper, onion, or spinach. Enjoy your Portobello Pizza Caps!
