1 cup butter
½ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 ¼ cup flour
Colored sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter well. Add sugar and vanilla and enough flour to make stiff dough. Roll dough into a log and roll in colored sugar. Wrap in saran and chill 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut slices of cookies, ½ thick. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake 8 minutes.
