1 garlic clove, halved
6 peeled red potatoes, cut into 1/8 inch slices (about 2 pounds)
4 T butter, melted
½ tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 cup (four ounces) shredded Gruyere cheese
1 ½ cups fat free milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Rub an 11 x 7 inch baking dish with cut sides of garlic halves. Discard garlic. Coat dish with cooking spray. Arrange half of the potatoes in the dish. Drizzle with half of the butter. Season with half salt and pepper. Top with half of the cheese. Repeat. Bring milk to a boil over low heat in small saucepan. Pour over potato layers in casserole. Bake for 40 minutes or until tender.
