1 ¼ cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
½ cup butter
1/3 cup light brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 T flour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 8-ounce package dates, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together 1 ¼ cup flour and 1/3 cup sugar. Cut into butter to form crumbs. Pack into bottom of 9 inch pan. Bake for 20 minutes.

In the meantime, beat together brown sugar, ½ cup sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, nuts and dates. Spread over top of baked pasty. Bake another 20 minutes.
