6 egg yolks
4 eggs
2 cups butter, softened
2 1/8 cups sugar
7 cups flour
1 T. baking power
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. Cover and chill for at least one hour.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheets. On a flour surface, roll the dough to 1/2 thick and cut into desired shapes. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on cookie sheet before removing to wire rack.
