10 jalapeņos sliced
2 cloves garlic smashed
1 c vinegar 5%
1 c filtered water
1/2 c honey or sugar
1 t salt
Optional: bay leaf, 1 t oregano, 1 t peppercorns

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, salt, garlic, water, and vinegar
Heat to boil, stir. Cool slightly.
Pack jalapeņos into quart size jar. Pour brine over peppers. Place lid and let cool to room temp.
Refrigerate up to 3 months
