Personal Notes:
Miss Pat Ellis used to make these cookies for the kids she cared for. One day around 2020 Jake asked if I had the recipe for Miss Pat's Cheerio cookies.

Not long after, I started seeing many versions of Miss Pat's cookies at the Bagel Bin. Scott was baking the cookies for sale.

One day when I called Pat to tell her about her cherished cookie recipe for sale at the Bagel Bin, I discovered she was about to go into surgery that afternoon and she never recovered.

I understand her grandchildren did visit the Bagel Bin subsequently and had some of the cookies.
