1 c softened margarine
3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp water
2 eggs
2 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 pkg (12 oz) chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar, add eggs and beat well. Add water and blend.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt together then mix into other mixture. Last add chocolate chips and nuts if desired.

Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
