Mom's Dream White Cake Recipe

1 box of white cake mix
1 envelope of Dream Whip
4 egg whites
1 c water
(add oil if called for on cake mix box)
Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients and mix well on low speed for 1 minute.
Beat for 4 minutes on high speed.
Pour into 2 9 inch cake pans or a 13" X 9" (make sure to grease and flour before pouring)
Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until cake is done (it will start to pull away from the sides of the pan) Do not bake too long. Check with a toothpick before the time is completely up to ensure you don't overcook. Make sure not to open the oven door for at least the first 20 minutes.

Note: Mother always used a piece of wax paper on the bottom of her pans, only the bottom as she notes in her recipe book.
