3/4 C shortening
3/4 C sugar
3/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 C all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 3/4 C old-fashioned rolled oats
1 C dried cranberries
1 C chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375°. Spray nonstick cooking spray on cookie sheets.
Blend shortening, sugar and brown sugar in large bowl on medium speed until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Beat into shortening mixture until blended.
Stir in oats, cranberries, and walnuts. Drop by T 2” apart on baking sheets.
Bake 10-12 minutes until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes and remove to wire rack to cool.
