1 3/4 c sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 lb butter
1/4 c corn syrup
4 eggs
1 T vanilla
2 pe flour 1/2 cake. 1/2 all purpose

Directions:
Directions:
1 cream shortening, sugar, salt, and corn syrup until light and soft
2. Add eggs in two batches and add vanilla
3. Sift flour and add to mixture until mixed. Do not over mix

4. Chill dough.. Remove 1 part at a time. Roll out on a floured cloth to about 1/8 inch. With a round cutter cut bottom circles. Place on parchment lined sheet pan.
5 cut the same number of circles for tops cut a small circle in each top

6. Bake at 400* until lightly brown

6. When cool flip the bottom cookies upside down Drop a spoonful of good raspberry jam in center. Top with other cookie. Dust with confectionery sugar.
