¾ cup milk
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 cup all purpose flour
3 tsps. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 large egg
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl combine milk and vinegar, set aside for 10 minutes to sour. Combine dry ingredients in another bowl. Whisk together soured milk, egg, vanilla and melted butter then pour into dry ingredients, whisking till lumps are gone being sure not to overbeat. Batter will be thick, don't add any more liquid but let the batter sit undisturbed for about 10 minutes. Do not stir again. Gently dip out ½ cup batter and pour onto hot buttered pan and cook until bubbles appear on surface. Flip over and cook other side.
