Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This regal recipe was first created to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. I remember Mom baking it when I was little; its tender, moist crumb left a lasting impression on my young taste buds. When Her Majesty passed away on September 19th, 2022, I made this cake in her honour. As the smell filled my kitchen, I thought of Mom, knowing she would've done the same.
