Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 1/2 onion chopped (optional) 3 slices of Bacon Chopped (optional) 2 eggs 4 slices of American cheese or cheese of choice 1 - 2 cans of buttermilk biscuits 1 tsp garlic powder (optional) salt & pepper to taste 1/2 tbsp of A1 Sauce Pickles sliced (optional) Hamburger seasoning of choice Sesame seeds (optional)

Directions:Preheat Oven to 350º 1. In large skillet, brown ground beef and add salt, pepper, garlic and hamburger seasoning to taste. 2. Drain ground beef. Cook onions as desired. 3. Mix drained beef and onions set aside to cool in fridge. 4. Once beef is cool add 1 egg and A1 sauce. Mix well. 5. Roll out each biscuit to 1/4 inch thick. 6. Add optional topping and cheese to each rolled out biscuit. 7. Add 2 tbsp of hamburger mixture to each biscuit. 8. Gather outer edges of biscuit dough around the filling and pinch to close. 9. turn each pocket seam side down on parchment lined baking sheet. 10. Beat 1 egg with a tsp of water and brush each pocket, add optional sesame seeds to top if desired. 11. Bake at 350º degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. ENJOY! |

Notes: If making half the recipe Separate the egg yolk and egg whites. Use the egg yolk in the beef mixture and egg whites to brush the pockets.
Any additional meat will need to be cooked again because of the raw egg.
