1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. flaked coconut
1 box german chocolate cake mix
Eggs, oil & water (per cake mix instructions)
½ c. butter
1 block cream cheese
3½ c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Butter the bottom of a 9x13 pan; Sprinkle the pecans & coconut in the pan. Prepare cake mix according to package directions & pour over pecans & coconut.

Combine butter, cream cheese & powdered sugar - mix well. Drop in dollops of cream cheese mixture in the cake batter. Use knife to swirl a little. Bake at 350º for one hour.

This cake is not pretty - but is very tasty! We like it plain or with vanilla ice cream.
