Apple Mixture:
10 c. Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored & sliced)
1 c. brown sugar
1 T all-purpose flour
1 t ground cinnamon

Crisp Mixture:
2 c. quick-cooking oats
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. packed brown sugar
½ t. baking powder
½ t. baking soda
1 c. (2 sticks) butter (cubed)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º & prepare a 9x13 pan with baking spray or coat with butter.

Place sliced apples in a bowl & add brown sugar, flour & cinnamon. Stir gently & make sure every piece of apple is covered in the mixture.

Combine the first five crisp mixture ingredients together. Add in the cubed butter & use your hands to combine. You want the butter to end up pea-sized and coated entirely.

Spread 3 cups of the mixture on the bottom of your prepared pan & press flat. Add the apple mixture on top & press down with rubber spatula. Pour remaining crisp mixture over the top of the apples & bake uncovered for 35-45 minutes.
