1 cup shortening
1 egg
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup molasses
½ tsp. salt
2 tsps. ginger
1 tsp. lemon extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and roll into little balls. Press with fork then bake in 350º oven for 10 minutes.
