1 c. warm tap water
1/3 c. oil
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. yeast
1 egg beaten
1 tbsp. softened butter
1/2 tsp. salt
3 to 4 c. flour (closer to 3 likely)
1/8 c. milk room temp.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Prior to this warm oven to 170º and turn off.

In large bowl combine 1 c. water, oil, sugar and yeast. Let sit until yeast is bubbly (about 8 minutes). Stir in beaten egg, softened butter and salt.

With stand mixer add flour, one cup at a time until you have soft dough that isn't sticky.
Knead by hand 10 minutes or 5 minutes with a stand mixer. I knead a few times by hand too.

Divide dough into 16 even pieces and form balls, Place in 2 greased cake pans and cover with parchment paper. Place in warmed oven and let rise. (Takes about 20 minutes depending on yeast)

Lightly brush with milk and bake 10 - 12 minutes until browned.
