1 head of butter lettuce, or other tender lettuce
2 Royal Riviera Pears, peeled, cored and sliced
3 ounces blue cheese
1/2 cup walnuts
2 TB light brown sugar
1/4 tsp each of salt/pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with nonstick coating
Combine lettuce, pears, and blue cheese in a shallow bowl

For the walnuts, rinse in water, drain, then coat in a bowl with the mixed up salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Place on the cookie sheet in a single layer and cook 5-8 minutes, or until the sugar is melted, stirring once. Cool for at least 30 minutes before adding the the salad.
