2 Cup Soft butter
2 Cup Sugar
6 ea Eggs
4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
8 Oz coconut
8 Oz Candied cherries (green and red)
8 Oz Candied Pineapple
2 tsp vanilla extract
3¾ cup Toasted Pecan pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar with mixer until fluffy. Beat in eggs. Sift 3 cups flour, baking powder salt. Stir into mix. Mix 1 cup flour and nuts, toasting them together. Stir in Vanilla, Coconut, cherries, pineapple, and toasted flour and nuts into Sugar mixture. Cook in buttered tube pan at 350º for 3 hours.

While I got this recipe from my grandmother (Ruby Moore) she in turn got it from my Aunt Opel her husbands oldest sister.
