"Plain fresh bread, its crust shatteringly crisp. Sweet cold butter. There is magic in the way they come together in your mouth to make a single perfect bite."--Ruth Reichl

Personal Notes:
When preparing Banana Bread one must be confident. If the preparer of Banana Bread is hopeless the dish will come out bland. I remember the first time I tried this recipe. The moment I opened the oven, the smell of bananas transported me to when I fell asleep that night. As I was eating the bread, I closed my eyes each time I took a bite. When eating Banana Bread you can't just be in any kind of mood. The recipe will not taste the way it should if you aren't. If you are disturbed or agitated, the Bread will get burnt. You have to be relaxed and soothed and the recipe will turn out perfect. Once you try it you will never want to try any other kind of bread again.
