2 c. hot water (poured over)
4 c. Bran cereal

sift together:
5 c. flour
1 t. salt
5 t. baking soda

cream together:
1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
In a large bowl mix together (4)beaten eggs and hot water. Add dry ingredients. Mix in 1 quart of buttermilk and add 2 cups flaked bran cereal, stir to combine.

Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.(just under 150). Batter may be stored in refrigerator up to six weeks covered.
Makes six dozen muffins.
