Ingredients:  
2 lbs. Ground beef
2 lbs. ground mild Italian sausage
2 large cans or 6 small cans of tomato paste
2 Tbs salt
2 Tbs pepper
1 Tbs dried basil
1 Large onion
4 Tbs minced garlic
2 large green peppers
1 Package Lasagna noodles
2 Lbs. Mozzarella cheese sliced
1 large container Ricotta cheese (if you want)
2 Tbs dark brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:

Brown the beef and sausage
In a blender blend onion, garlic and green pepper add to browned meat
simmer for 2 hrs.
cool and refrigerate overnight.

Next day!
Boil lasagna noodles
In a long Pyrex or tin dish, put enough sauce to cover bottom of dish
Layer noodles, sauce and cheese and repeat

If you use ricotta cheese spread it over two layers of noodles.
