1 yellow onion, sliced
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1½ cups beef broth
5 Tablespoons yellow mustard
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
¼ cup soy sauce
2.5 to 3.5 lb. beef shoulder or rump roast
salt and pepper
1 package (8 ct.) hogi buns
1 package (8 oz.) sliced provolone

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut the onion and garlic and place them in the bottom of the crock pot.

2. In a small bowl, combine the beef broth, mustard, Worcestershire Sauce and soy sauce. Pour over the onion and garlic in the crock pot.

3. Place the roast on top of the ingredients in the crock pot, and then sprinkle salt and pepper on top of it.

4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

5. Remove the meat from the crock pot and shred using forks. Take the onions out of the broth and place them on a small serving platter. Pour the broth into serving cups for each person.

6. Place the meat on buns with a slice of Provolone cheese. Add onions to the sandwich if desired. Use the broth to dip the French Dip sandwiches
