1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 c. sugar
1 c. light Karo Syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c. margarine

2-3 gallons popped, popcorn

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except vanilla in heavy kettle. Cook to 230 degrees (firm ball) on candy thermometer. Remove from heat, add vanilla.
Pour over 2-3 gallons popped popcorn.
Spread out on counter to cool and dry.

Gramps favorite. I make 3 batches and put in plastic garbage bags before Christmas every year. There are some years that I have to make more for Christmas because Gramps and helpers have eaten their Christmas stash.
