1 (8 1/2 oz) can crushed pineapple
1/4 c. pineapple liquid
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
2 T. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz) pkg. diced dates
1 c. whipping cream
Directions:
Directions:
Drain pineapple well, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. Gradually add pineapple liquid and sugar (omit sugar if using this as a salad) to softened cream cheese. Beat until fluffy. Add pineapple, pecans, and dates. Mix well.
Whip cream, using chilled bowl and beaters. Fold whipped cream into date mixture. Spoon into an 8" square pan or into individual molds. Freeze until firm.
To serve, cut dessert into nine servings.
