3 Tbsp flour
1 Cup milk
1 Recipe biscuit dumplings(or use canned biscuits, cut into quarters)

Biscuit Dumplings
2 Cups flour
2 Tsp baking powder
1 Tsp salt
1/4 Cup shortening
3/4 Cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Wash chicken pieces and remove the skin. Place in a large pot; season with salt and pepper. Nearly cover the chicken with water; cover the pot; bring to a boil and simmer gently for 1 1/2 hours. Drop in the biscuit dumplings and let cook for 20 minutes. Remove the dumplings to a dish. Mix the flour into the milk, making a smooth paste; add to the chicken and bring to a boil. Cook until thickened.

Biscuit Dumplings
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender or a fork. Add milk; use only enough to make a soft dough. Pat out 1/2" thick and cut into 1" squares, strips, or diamonds. Drop into boiling chicken; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
