1 Gal plus 1 pint Chicken Broth
10 Chicken bouillon cubes
1 Whole chicken boiled, de-boned and cut into pieces

Dumplings:
3 C. Self-rising flour
1 C. Water
1 Egg
1/4 C Crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, water, egg and shortening. Divide into 3 balls. Roll very thin and cut in small strips.

Bring broth to a rolling boil. Add dumplings, ensuring that you do not stir. Shake pot and continue adding dumplings a few at a time. Simmer 30-45 minutes and add chicken.
