2 packages dry yeast (1 1/2 T)
1 1/2 c warm water
1/2 tsp salt (Kosher)
4 1/2 c flour
1/4 c baking soda dissolved in another cup of water - set aside

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 1 1/2 c warm water.

Add flour and salt. Mix well.

Knead for about 5 minutes.

Cover and let rise in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.

Roll into long strips 6”-8” long.

Place in soda solution for 1 minute.

Shape and place on a greased cookie sheet.

Sprinkle with Kosher salt.

Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes or until lightly brown.

You can turn them over when they are half done baking so they get more evenly browned.
