1 cup plain flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 pints fresh oysters, rinsed and drained (approx 46)
23 bacon slices, cut in half

Directions:
Directions:
Pour oil to a depth of 1 inch in electric skillet or fry daddy. Heat electric skillet to 350º. Combine flour, salt and pepper in shallow dish. Dredge oyster in flour mixture. Wrap each oyster with a bacon piece and secure with a wooden pick. Fry oysters, in batches, for about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes or until bacon is cooked. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately.
