1 box brownie mix (13"x"9 size, made to pkg directions)
1 C sugar
1/12 C light corn syrup
4 eggs
1/4 C unsalted butter
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 C pecans, roughly chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven according to brownie directions.
Whisk together sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter & vanilla in small saucepan.
Place on med heat & cook, stirring constantly.
Mix brownies according to pkg directions.
Pour brownie mix into greased 13"x9" pan and bake for 20 mins.
Cook mixture on stovetop until it is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon (about 15 mins).
Stir the pecans into the heated mixture & continue to cook another 2-3 mins.
Cook until the consistency resembles runny oatmeal.
When the brownies have reached 20 mins, remove from the oven and pour the pecan pie filling over the top & spread it out evenly.
Place back in the oven 25-30 mins, or until filling is only slightly jiggly in the center.
Let cool completely before cutting.
